Having an older doxie is a special gift that few have opened. If the thought of helping an older doxie is in your thoughts, but just beyond your reach, please consider the DRBC GrandPaws Program. Aging is not a disease!

Sponsor a Sanctuary Senior Dog
Can't adopt or foster a senior dog? You can still help. All of the dogs featured below are permanent residents of Cora’s House, the DRBC Sanctuary home. They are not currently available for adoption for a variety of reasons; some have constant medical needs; some are in the final stages of illness; some have special emotional needs; some give emotional support to those in need.
You can help to make a difference for one of these special doxies by sponsoring one of our permanent residents with a monthly gift to Cora's House. Your contribution provides food and ongoing medical care for our Sanctuary Seniors.
Without sponsors like you, Cora's House could not continue its mission of protecting and caring for older and abused doxies that cannot be adopted. In return for your support, you will receive a photo of the dog you have chosen to sponsor. You will also receive periodic updates from your dog sometimes signed with an authentic paw print.
Please read the stories of these special little ones by clicking on their name and be sure to tell us which dog you would like to sponsor.
