The Event & Participation
This years event will be our biggest ever and clearly the most fun with the Sommerfest 2010 Costume Extravaganza!

Who is the cutest, can dress most like their owner, has the best costume and much, much more.  This fun event is a great way to smile into summer, so come on out and have some fun with DRBC.

The focus is all fun for your and your beloved doxies.  We are looking for the wild, the funny and the downright most adorable for this year's winner circle, so pull out all the stops and join us!  This fun filled event will end in a parade around the grounds.  Let's party like it is 1995!!!  See ya there.

Please remember that all proceeds from this and every Dachshund Rescue of Bucks County & NJ event are applied to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of the breed we love so very much, so please help us help them!

Registration/Check-in for all participants. Limited In-person registration will be available, so register early to insure participation in this event.  Participants and their owners will need to check-in as early as possible for these events.  Remember on-line registration closes May 25th and you do want your doxies name in the program, so don't wait.

Dachshund Awards
It is time for some very special awards and because no doxie is ever a looser there will be a parade that includes all the doxies at the event.  Get ready for the applause as it can be a little intimidating for first timers.  Just smile and wave, com'on your doxie knows, they are simply the best!

Help us show off the best breed on the surface of the earth, or maybe, in the universe...our dachshunds!  DRBC invites all our event winners and their families to lead the way as we show everyone on the Sommerfest grounds who is the best!  Additionaly, we ask that all doxie owners join us for this march.  Let's help everyone understand dachshund pride!

Agility Demonstration

 3:45pm - 4:45pm DRBC is exited to present this agility demonstration by Lehigh Valley Dream Weavers Agility Club. If you have been thinking about getting your doxie involved in this fast paced sport you can't miss this event!  The agility instructors will be available to answer all of your questions following the actual demo.

Note:  Vaccinations must be up to date on the date of the event.  Applications will be accepted with vaccination appointments noted.  Final paperwork by your veterinarian must indicate a vaccination date prior to the date of the event.  Canine influenza is optional, but encouraged.
